ULTIMATE!!!

This weekend was pretty sweet. Saturday I worked 9 hours then hung out with my friend from Covenant Bible College. Her name is Jean and she goes to school in Arizona but grew up in Forest Lake, MN. So she came up for the day and her, Keely and I went to Jay Cooke State park. Jealous? It was beautiful. The weather was perfect. Jean is awesome! We hung out for a bit and then Kristi O got off work and we hung out at Perkins until 12am. It was pretty fun. Here are some pics of us at Jay Cooke.

This reminds me of Titanic for some stange reason.

Hi-Jean!

Sunday was a day that would never end. I got up at 8am because I like getting up early and then, because I was cheap and didn't want to buy gas, I decided to walk 19 blocks to church. The weather was awesome, so I didn't mind. I was picked up by my friend Ash-Bash about five blocks from the church. Since I haven't seen her all summer I decided to hit her up for a ride. As I got out of her car and the door shut, she said, "WAIT!" She had also shut her side of the car and left her keys in the ignition.

So after church Ash-bash and I worked out some locksmith stuff and around 145 her car was open. It was so awesome to see her. I know while she has been living in the cities it has been hard to be encouraged down there, but we had an awesome talk this afternoon. We talked a lot about the catholic beliefs and about what other people believe. Some of the stuff she talked about was so sad. People really have no idea about God and who he TRUELY is, what he really is about! She treated me to Bejing, (only the best chinese that $5 can buy) and we got to talk about what's been going on in our lives- challenges, blessings and stuff. it was really good and put a lot of stuff into perpective that I have been thinking about this summer. It was good.
Later my homie, Joanna, and I hung out. We tied 1-1 on cribbage. "People, let me tell you," I greatly love this game. I could sit and play for like 6 hours (if it wasn't nice out side). Mom, Sister- I need to teach this game to you! It's great!!!
And then the real fun began. At 630 Me and a few friends got together (17 other people) and we played ultimate frisbee for like 2 hours. It was freakin' sweet!!! We had 18 people out there. Let me tell you that this game rocks. I think I like playing it more than softball. maybe that's because not everyone has a softball glove. Oh, it was glorious. Like when you are in the inzone and someone throws a hail mary and there are like three guys around you and you catch it! Awesome! That didn't happen to me, but it happend to others and it was great. I had a few good plays, I'll brag. But for the most part I was trying to catch my breath because I don't have any endurence. I didnt care though. It was so much fun though. It's great when everyone has good sportsmanship too. Afterwards people came beck to my casa and we played POWER UNO!!! Hook it up, dude! Now, instead of sleeping, I blogging. But typing in the dark is making me sleepy. So, here I come 615am!!!
Peace be with y'all!
